Audio overseer: Alex Li.
Purpose Thank you for looking after the heart of the system! Your team sets up and connects the AHEC-2 (audio headend) and the media PCs at the A/V booth, connects the venue wireless microphones and projector link, and then commissions the system with Alex.
Assignment scope
Alex arranges the two media PCs, and your team runs their audio lines from AIF-1 and AIF-2 to AMC-3 (audio multicore) inputs 7 and 8. Audio Cabling brings all other cables to the booth. Power brings the booth supply.
⚠️ Booth safety
• Please keep all equipment switched off while connecting.
• Switch on only after the Power team hands over the supply, and test at low level first.
• Lift the AHEC-2/1 (audio headend rack, 25 kg) with a helper.
• Keep the operator aisle clear and label every cable at both ends.

Media PC audio lines
Your team runs the AIF-1 and AIF-2 lines to AMC-3 inputs 7 and 8 (sheet 6-1). Those inputs are on the AMC-3 stage box, so please ask Alex for the route from table 10 and cover every crossing.
Setup steps
1. Place the equipment Sheet: 1-1
- Put the AHEC-2 rack at the A/V booth (area 9 on the venue layout; beside SPK-2.2 on sheet 1-1).
- Put the two media PCs at table 10.
- Keep a clear operator aisle.
2. Connect the audio Sheet: 6-1
- Keep everything switched off.
- Connect the AMC-3 tails, the amplifier outputs to LSCS-01 and LSCS-02, and returns A and B, as sheet 6-1 shows.
- Connect PC-1 → AIF-1 and PC-2 → AIF-2, and set the AIF switches (table above).
- Run the AIF-1 and AIF-2 lines to AMC-3 inputs 7 and 8 on Alex's route, and cover any crossings.
3. Wireless microphones
- Collect at least two wireless microphones and their receivers from the venue technician on Saturday, before commissioning.
- Connect the receivers to AMC-3 inputs 5 and 6 with Audio Cabling and Stage.
4. Projector link
- Connect PC-1 HDMI to the venue HDMI extender transmitter.
- Confirm the projectors with venue staff, then test the picture.
5. Switch on and test
- Switch on once the Power team hands over the supply.
- Test at low level: six passive speakers, stage monitors, lobby and Accounting, all microphones and both PCs.
6. Commission with Alex
- Balance and EQ the system, including the wireless microphones.
- Test media cues and walk through the pioneer meeting positions.
- Note any faults and how they were fixed.
Completion checklist
- AHEC-2 and PCs placed; cables labelled
- All connections match sheet 6-1
- AIF lines run to AMC-3 inputs 7 and 8; AIF switches and starting levels set
- Wireless microphones collected and working
- Projector link tested with venue staff
- All speakers and inputs tested at low level
- Commissioning finished with Alex; faults noted
Dismantling
Thank you for all your care! After the program on Sunday:
- Please wait for the egress and packing safety meeting with prayer, 30 minutes after the program ends.
- Switch off before unplugging anything, and let the other teams know when the booth is off.
- Return the wireless microphones and receivers to venue staff, with our thanks.
- Pack the AIFs, microphones and accessories back in AHEC-2/2.
- Bring AHEC-2/1, AHEC-2/2 and VES-1 to the packing area; the keyman does a final check.
